The Most Amazing Movie Ever!

The most amazing movie ever ...

The Greatest Showman!

Oh my goodness!  So incredible!
Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Wouldn't it be amazing if our lives were set to music?
Even the boring days and the bad days would seem magical!

And Hugh Jackman is one of the people on my list of
"What 5 people would you invite to a dinner party?"
I heard he's the nicest guy in Hollywood
and I would just love to hear him interact with everyone.

And then I would tell him
how freakin' amazing his movie was.

(Did I mention it was a great movie?)

Oh, and the greatest soundtrack for a movie?

The Greatest Showman!
(Of course!)

Absolutely wonderful.
It makes me want to smile and cry at the same time.
Fills me with bittersweet ache and joyful hope.
Truly spectacular!

Want to experience the songs for yourself?
Here are links to all the main songs in the movie.  (Warning: If you haven't seen the movie yet, these might contain spoilers.)

(Oh, just buy the soundtrack and movie already!  And when you get the soundtrack, turn it up really loud and dance like you've never danced before.)

And to be fair ... my other favorite "best movie ever" is Guardians of the Galaxy 2.  There's just so much in these two favorite movies that I relate to, so much emotion that they stir up.  Happy and sad.  They reach deep into my soul and touch my heart.  They deserve top place in my list of favorites.

And then hot on the heels of these is the first Guardians and Thor: RagnarokI can't leave these out.  They deserved to be mentioned.

And ... Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth are two of the other people I'd invite to dinner.  Chris Pratt is a strong, outspoken Christian who seems like such a genuinely amazing guy, and I think conversations would be so much fun with him around.  And Chris Hemsworth ... well ... with his voice and accent, I could listen to him all day.  And he's incredibly easy on the eyes!  [Does my wonderful hubby know this?  I don't think so.  But to be fair, he thought Hela from Thor (Cate Blanchett) was mighty fine.  So it's all good!  He's got his and I've got mine!]

[And who would be the other two people you'd invite to a dinner party, you probably asking right now.

Ok, I'll tell you.  Since you asked.

Tony Evans, my favorite preacher.  He's got such godly wisdom, and I'd love to hear whatever inspiration he can pass on to us.  I'd love to learn from him as he talks with everyone.

And Angelina Jolie ... because she fascinates me.  From how she used to be to who she is now.  She's had quite the journey.  And now to see her do all that humanitarian work!  She's fascinating.  And opinionated.  And I bet she'd make an interesting conversationalist.

That would be a great dinner party.  Oh, and I have to add Bono from U2.  He's so full of life.  And he's a firm, vocal Jesus follower.   And like Chris Pratt, he doesn't care who knows it.  Anyone who can make it that big and still boldly and faithfully cling to Jesus is someone I'd love to visit with.  That would make it complete.

And of course, it's a given that my husband and Jesus would be there, too.  Ok, so make that me and my husband and seven guests.   What fun!  That would be a night to remember!]

So - for fun - how about you?  Favorite movies?  Songs that touch your heart or that mean a lot to you?  Who would you invite to a dinner party?
