My Precious Lord and Savior

God truly, deeply loves all people and desires that all people be saved.  Jesus died for the sins of all people, so that all have the chance to believe in Him, to be forgiven, and to find salvation.

How dare Calvinism limit God's love, devalue Jesus's incredible sacrificial death, and block the doors of heaven from most people by saying that God only loves a few prechosen people, that Jesus only died for the sins of those few prechosen people, and that everyone else has been hopelessly created for destruction and damnation, unloved by God, with no chance to be forgiven or rescued from hell!  (All while claiming to humbly honor God and uphold His Gospel, His Truth, and His character!)

How dare it!  It makes me sick!

My wonderful, amazing, gracious heavenly Father dearly loves all people and wants all to be saved.  And my Jesus - my beautiful, loving, precious Lord and Savior - died for everyone so that everyone truly has the opportunity to be saved.  No one is beyond the reach of God's amazing grace and love.  No one is unforgiveable.  No one is hopeless!

Titus 2:11: "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men."

John 1:29: "Here is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world!"

1 John 2:2: "[Jesus] is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."

1 Timothy 2:4-6: "[God our Savior] wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.  For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men..."

John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

2 Peter 3:9: "... He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

Romans 10:9, 13: "If you confess with your mouth that 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.... Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
