Be Wary Of The Christian Post

(Written 6/15/18)  Occasionally, I check in with the Christian Post to see what's going on in the world that specifically relates to Christians.  And generally, I've never really had any red flags go up about this website ... until now. A recent article by Stoyan Zaimov, with a title that starts "Christian Lesbian rock star ..." goes on to share this woman's story about being assaulted by a male priest when she was young.   However, I don't think the reason for this article is to talk about the abuse she suffered and her courage in speaking up.  I think this is a deliberate attempt to affirm Christian homosexuality.  The very fact that they put "Christian" and "lesbian" in the title makes it sound like it's indeed possible to be a Christian and a practicing homosexual who sees no need to change. I think I stumbled upon the perfect "If They Mated ..." scenario for who I look like and how I act.  (You know, when they take two people and morph their faces into one to show what their offspring would look like if they mated.)  I wasn't trying to figure this out or anything; it just came to me as I was watching The Hobbit recently.  And once I saw it in my mind, I couldn't unsee it.  Then after I thought about possibly sharing it with all of you, my mind won't let it go until I do.  And so here it is, much to my chagrin... Would You Allow A Grown Man's Naked Crotch In Your Child's Face?

Photo shows Drag Queen Story Hour performer in miniskirt exposing crotch as children sit close by If this doesn't wake people up to what's wrong in our society today, what's it gonna take!?!  How far does it have to go before people wake up: an underwear-less Drag Queen grabbing a child's hand and running it up his skirt, or a half-naked Drag Queen "accidentally" touching children in inappropriate ways?  How far is too far?   But if we can't trust adults to realize that the stuff that's already going on is totally inappropriate , if we can't trust them to stand up against it for the sake of the children, then WHY would we expect them to protect children from "inappropriate" touches?  Especially when the government is supporting and protecting this inappropriate stuff!   Apparently so-called "intelligent" adults have lost their brains and morals so badly that they can't even identify "inappropriate" anymore, ...

Why Is Calvinism So Dangerous? (updated)

Because it  appears  to teach biblical truth while actually teaching  the opposite  - while using  manipulation and cult-like tactics to suck you in!  And it's spreading.  Stealthily, fast, aggressively. (We watched it happen firsthand in our church, which is why I wrote this blog.  See  "What's the best way to make people agree with your Calvinist views?"    Sadly, we ended up  leaving that church , a place we attended almost 20 years.) [ I updated this November 2022 to try to shorten it.  I failed.  But I hope it's more readable and streamlined at least.   If you only read one anti-Calvinism post of mine, I think it should be this one.  But I'm warning you, this post is long.  Very long.  So pack a lunch and bring a sleeping bag.  But it has to be long because Calvinism is so deceptively convoluted that it takes time to peel off the layers so that you can see it for what it really is.  ...

New York Supports Homosexuals Over Homeless Children

It is so sad that the state of New York would put homosexual rights over the welfare of children.   New York State To Faith-Based Adoption Agency: Violate Your Beliefs Or Shut Down They would rather have more homeless, family-less children than risk offending homosexuals.  And they are violating the so-called "separation of church and state" by dictating what a non-government-supported, church-funded, Christian organization can do! This is so wrong on so many levels!  Oh, wait ... I just found the verses they are using to support this decision: "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to uphold the rights of homosexuals and to look after widows in their distress ..."  (James 1:27) "Do not take advantage of a widow or offend a homosexual."  (Exodus 22:22) "Defend the cause of the weak and the homosexuals; maintain the rights of the poor and the homosexuals."  (Psalm 82:3) Oh, okay ... A Website Worth Visiting: Hoppers Crossing Christian Church

I recently found a good website that has lots of information about the dangers and errors of Calvinism:  Hoppers Crossing Christian Church .  (Also try this link for blog post.)
