I think these are the last of the Anti-Calvinism memes for now.  When I get creative, I'll make more.

How Calvinism Was Created and Two Calvinists Talking...  (Yeah, yeah ... I know ... they're childish and mean.  But I couldn't help it.  They basically wrote themselves.  If it makes you happy, you can choose to substitute "Free-Will" in there for Calvinism.  But I like these the way they are.  Makes me giggle.)

Okay, so about 40% of Americans in a recent survey say that gender isn’t determined at birth.   Hmm? Hmm? … Let me think about that a minute … If I say that a horse isn’t a horse, that it’s really born as an unspecified species and that, if it wants to, it can grow up to be a squirrel or a dog or a cow … does it really change its “horseness”?   If I say that my chromosomes are not human chromosomes but eagle chromosomes, does it make me an eagle?      Does denial or wishful thinking change reality? We can live in denial of reality, but our beliefs don’t change reality. (It’s funny … but living in denial of reality used to be called “crazy.”   Delusional.   Now it’s considered hip and progressive and celebratory.) Calvi-god's Will: Children Deserve What!?!

(FYI: There will be lots of posts on Calvinism coming up in the next months, with some non-Calvinism ones sprinkled in between.)   I updated my comment on the R.C. Sproul Jr. quote in my post  "But Calvinists don't say God causes sin and evil!"   (which, incidentally, was featured in a  "reddit reformed" post ) .   And as usual, I made it much longer, adding more quotes (quotes I've posted in other places, so feel free to skip them if you've read them before).  But it's important stuff, the bottom-line of Calvinism (which is why I want them all together in one place and why I re-quote them often, as needed - because Calvinists' own words make the best case against them).    And I figured I'd repost my new comment here, too, because it's a whole post all on its own.  (Also  see my post  Thank you, reddit/reformed. Where I'm Coming From ...

            (Repost of "How I Broke" from my other blog.  FYI - this is a long post!   A really long post.   Did I mention it will be a long post?)               I had the pleasure of talking briefly with a friend the other day about her journey through depression/anxiety and about mine.   It was so refreshing to be able to talk a bit about my struggles, to not feel like I had to answer “I’m fine.   How are you?”   She actually brought up her struggles first, and it gave me permission to talk about mine.               For the past year and more, I have only been able to be honest with and share my struggles with one friend.   (Thank God for her!   What a blessing!).   And with everyone else, it’s always been “I’m fine.   How are you?”      ...
